Some plans are available in an easy-to-read “Right-Reading Reverse” format. Call 800-482-0464 for Right-Reading Reverse availability. Mirror Reverse $50 Charge. Right-Reading Reverse $135 Charge.
For obtaining faster, more accurate bids, materials lists give the quantity, dimensions and specifications for the major materials needed to build your home. Materials Lists are available for all home plans except as otherwise indicated, but can only be ordered with a set of home plans. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC specifications are not included. Call 800-482-0464 for pricing.
Many of our home plan construction drawings can be sealed by an architect that is registered in most states. Although an architect's seal will not guarantee approval of your home plan blueprints, a seal is sometimes required by your state or local building department in order to get a building permit. Please talk to your local building officials, before you order your blueprints, to determine if a seal is needed in your area. You will need to provide the county and state of your building site when ordering an architect's seal on your blueprints. Please allow at least an additional five to fifteen working days to process your order. Call 800-482-0464 for details.
A few states require that an energy certificate be prepared for your new home, to their specifications, before a building permit can be issued. Your local building official can tell you if one is required in your state. Please note: energy certificates are only available on orders for construction prints with an architect's state seal. Call 800-482-0464 for more details, or to order.
You will receive this form free of charge with your home plan order. The form is designed to be filled in by you or your contractor, noting the exact materials to be used in the construction of your new home. Once signed by you and your contractor it will provide you with peace of mind throughout the construction process.
