Designing a serene principal bedroom
We approached this design with a modern classic style, blending timeless details with soft, contemporary touches. The foundation of the room is a calm, neutral palette of warm beige tones, which instantly creates a sense of serenity. Layered textures in the fabrics, wallpaper and flooring ensure the space feels inviting rather than stark.
To add personality, we introduced gentle blue accents in the armchair, bench and cushions. This subtle colour palette not only breaks up the neutrals but also gives the room a refined elegance that feels soothing and effortless.

We placed a dressing table by the window to create a light-filled vanity area, giving her a personal corner that feels glamorous yet practical. The chest of drawers adds essential storage while keeping the aesthetic uncluttered and calm.
A key detail was ensuring the wardrobes were colour-matched to the wallpaper. This seamless blend allows the eye to rest without distraction, a design choice that elevates the whole room and gives it a tailored, cohesive feel.
