Interior Design Brief

Information is key

Your brief is the most crucial part of the design process. Our interior questionnaire helps us to get a lot of information which makes your brief. You will be able to tell us more about your home decor inspiration, upload photos of your current space and set your budget.

Interior Design consultation

You are given the opportunity to have a phone or video consultation with your own interior designer. Our designers work with you in a collaborative process to create a beautiful home that reflects your individual style This is a great way to discuss more about your requirements for your interior design project with your assigned designer.

We listen carefully to your needs and gain a good understanding of what you wish to achieve. Each project is totally bespoke. Share ideas and communicate with your designer throughout the process.

Design Stage 1

We get to work immediately after your design consultation; You will receive design schemes in the form of moodboards that will show an overall “feel” and mood of the space. Interior Design concepts give our clients a visual direction for their design project It is an important process that we use to communicate our ideas to our clients.

You can share your feedback and your designer will then implement changes.

Design Stage 2

House Designer combines our experience, creativity and interior design principles to create designs that our clients love. Your designer will work on more design boards and options to get your design just right. Your prompt feedback is helpful to speed up the process.

Once you have approved your final design and layout. Our 3D team gets to work. This process may take up to 7 working days as each furniture element is modeled bespoke.

See your new space in 3D

You will receive your design concept, 2D and 3D visuals  Your designer will provide you a shopping list with the items used in your design project. Making furniture and accessories shopping easy.

If you picked Deluxe and Ultimate packages, You will experience your new home in 3D.

Save on your new purchases

We provide a custom online shopping list with all items of furniture, wall covering option & decor items chosen in your final design. Making shopping easy with embedded links directly to the retailers. Don’t forget we are able to purchase your items via our trade accounts saving you up to 25% of RRP

Our support doesn’t just end when you receive your design package. Our design team here to help if you need anything.

  • We have a small team of professional interior designers who have are fully qualified and have gained working experience within the residential interior industry.

  • Interior design process starts with a mood board. We understand design projects can be overwhelming under the best of circumstances. We try to make the process to be simple, fun and effective.

  • A mood board is a visual representation of design ideas for your project. The purpose of a design mood board is to help explore style, ideas, colours, and overall feel of a space. We present our design boards with proposed furniture items and decor based on your brief.

  • Depending on the package you purchased, you have have between 3- 5 revisions. Please check your package allocation

  • We do not offer the option to pick a specific designer. If you have worked with us before and prefer to use the same designer, we are happy to assign the interior designer to your project.

  • Each package does have a design time. Between 3 -5 weeks. We allocate the design time for your project. Please kindly share your feedback and response in a timely manner in other to interrupt your project.

    We are a small team of designers. We pride ourselves on offering the highest level of quality and service. Our design process cannot be rushed.

  • We listen to our clients during the initial consultation. We design according to your style preferences and budget. It is very important to share as much information during your design brief and consultation with your Interior designer.

  • Yes, our designers keep your budget in mind when selecting furniture and accessories for your home interior project.

  • Yes! Of course you can. We ask if you have furniture you would like to keep in your project . Please be sure to share photos of the existing furniture you would like to keep.

  • Changing your design brief once we have started your project may incur a surcharge. Please kindly note that this will need more design time which we have to charge extra for.

  • We understand that clients may have to pause the design process due to circumstances, Please contact us via e-mail  immediately to let us know. According to our Terms of service, if a client does not respond for more than 6 weeks, Your project will be closed.

  • No, you do not need a site visit with our online interior design. In some cases, during your consultation we may require a video call (‘virtual’ tour ) to discuss your project with your designer.

    We also offer site visits and in-person consultations with one of our interior designers. This service is currently only available in London and Edinburgh.

  • There is no minimum spend. Your bespoke interior designer would work within your budget to create a stylish home decor for your project. You can set your furniture/accessories budget for your room wherever you feel comfortable.
