Careful layout planning was the foundation of this project. We designed an open-plan layout featuring a central island to maximise usability and flow. This provided a welcoming space for cooking, dining, and entertaining. The placement of appliances, cabinets, and countertops was carefully optimised for convenience, ensuring the kitchen feels intuitive and easy to use.
High-Gloss Cabinetry for a Clean Look
The cabinetry was a key design feature. We installed high-gloss, handleless cabinets in a soft beige tone, giving the space a minimalist, sophisticated finish. Their clean lines enhanced the contemporary aesthetic, while the reflective surfaces helped bounce light around the room, making it feel bright and spacious.
Premium Black Marble Worktops
The worktops were crafted from premium black marble with subtle veining, providing a striking contrast to the light cabinets. The marble’s durability and elegance made it an ideal choice for a busy kitchen.
State-of-the-Art Appliances
Incorporating state-of-the-art appliances was essential for this modern kitchen design. We included a built-in double oven, an induction hob on the island, and a sleek extractor fan, all in stainless steel, to complement the overall look.
Multifunctional Central Island
The central island served as both a workspace and a dining area. It featured additional storage, a built-in hob, and a stylish under-mount large sink as well as another sink for food only. The island’s black marble worktop extended to form a casual dining table, perfect for quick meals and socialising.
Innovative Lighting Solutions
Effective lighting was crucial to achieving the desired ambiance in the kitchen. We installed recessed ceiling lights for general illumination and pendant lights above the island to create a focal point and enhance the modern design.
Durable Flooring and Finishes
The kitchen flooring was finished with durable, easy-to-clean white tiles, which complemented the sleek design. The combination of light and dark elements throughout the kitchen created a balanced and visually appealing space.
