Online interior design might sound a bit impersonal to some. We’ve heard the assumptions before. Isn’t it all automated? Do you just get sent a moodboard and a shopping list? But the truth is, working with a remote interior designer can be one of the most collaborative, thoughtful, and personal ways to transform your home.
At House Designer, we’re a small, woman-owned design studio based in London. Our team includes passionate interior designers, garden designers, and 3D artists who genuinely care about every space we work on. Each project is carefully considered, and everything we create is tailored to the client. No copy-and-paste designs here.
We’re design-led, client-focused, and love helping homeowners across the UK fall in love with their spaces.
It Starts with a Conversation
Before anything else, we take the time to get to know you. Whether you’re redesigning your living room or tackling a full home renovation, it all begins with a proper chat.
You might speak with Alysia, our Head of Design, or Frances, who supports our clients and helps manage the onboarding process. You might even hear from Samantha, our founder, who remains hands-on in the day-to-day and closely involved in every project.
We’ll ask about your lifestyle, your needs, and your personal design preferences. Whether you’ve prepared a full brief or simply gathered a few screenshots and ideas, we’ll help shape it all into a thoughtful, cohesive design plan.
We work with clients all over the UK. And yes, online interior design can be every bit as personal and effective as in-person.

What Is It Like Working with an Online Design Studio?
Clients often tell us they didn’t expect it to feel so bespoke. We build each design from scratch. You’ll receive tailored moodboards, layout plans, visuals, and a curated shopping list that matches your style and budget.
There’s no set formula here. Whether you want a cosy Scandi-style living room or a bold, modern kitchen layout, we design for you. Not for algorithms or trends.
You’ll also have the opportunity to review the design and give feedback. Our process is collaborative, creative, and always centred around making sure the end result works beautifully for your lifestyle.

A Design Team That Works Together (So You Don’t Have To)

House Designer team
Behind the scenes, we’re a small but mighty team. You might be working directly with one designer, but your project will also be supported by others. Frances supports our content and brand voice, Mirela leads on garden and exterior projects, and our 3D visualisation team brings ideas to life with photorealistic renders in our packages.
Everything is created with care. Nothing is rushed or outsourced without oversight. This is what makes our service feel thoughtful and professional, even though it’s done entirely online.
Online Interior Design Services That Actually Work
We’re proud to say our online design service works for homes of all sizes and styles. Whether you’re designing a bedroom in Bristol, a small kitchen in Glasgow, or a new garden in Surrey, we can help.
Our services include:
- Online design packages
- Space planning layout
- Remote garden design service
- Exterior design for UK homes
- Bespoke interior design
We also offer styling help, bespoke furniture suggestions, and lighting plans. And we always take into account things like access, lighting, budget, and practicality. Because great design isn’t just about how it looks. It’s how it works for you, day to day.
It Still Feels Personal
One of the nicest things we hear from clients is how personal the experience feels. Even though we’re not standing in your living room, we are with you every step of the way. We understand that this is your home, your budget, your life. And we treat it with the care it deserves.
We’re not a big agency with dozens of faceless designers. We’re a close-knit, friendly team who love what we do. And we really enjoy getting to know the people we design for.
