About Samantha-Jane
Making professional design accessible to every home
Samantha-Jane began her career in fashion design, where she learned to think in material, proportion and detail. That training never left her. When she moved into interiors and trained at the British Academy of Interior Design, she brought a fashion designer’s eye for how things should feel, not just how they should look, and it still shapes every House Designer scheme today.
She founded House Designer in January 2020 after years of watching the same problem repeat: homeowners who wanted professional design guidance but found the traditional studio model too expensive, too slow or simply closed to them. Her answer was a studio built for how people actually live now. House Designer was among the first in the UK to bring interiors, gardens and exteriors under one roof, working with clients across the country and internationally through a remote process that delivers studio quality thinking at a fraction of the traditional cost.
